In December down my Facebook feed comes this... Win a 10,000.00 Shopping Spree ... a years worth of free groceries ! How to enter... by shopping online and buying all the things you would already buy at stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joes, wholesome products at Wholesale prices with free shipping at a place called, Thrive Market.
I had heard about this online market the year before, being a raw vegan at the time I was excited to give it a try, but the the catch was you had to pay a membership fee, so I was out. This time, they were offering a free 30 day membership to try it out, free shipping plus your an entry into the 10,000 contest... so this time I was in !

By being a first time shopper in December I received 4 free gifts, 15% discount off my order and free shipping. (I googled online coupon codes and was able to grab a 20% saving code that worked !) My total order was 26 items at 105.45 with a discount of 26.36 totalling 79.24 for my entire purchase.
Just by googling about 10 of the items and comparing to other online stores, I instantly saw that Thrive Market's prices beat them all out ! I figured the savings of time and gas alone was worth shopping online, add the savings and the added value of the free gifts - Win
After my order was complete, I received a few emails telling me I completed my order, giving me a receipt of the items I purchased, with photos and my savings, an email of when my goods were shipped and a tracking number.

They aim to ship with 24-48 hours. My shipment arrived earlier than they were scheduled to arrive. They came beautifully wrapped, with a hand written note and an inventory list. 1 of the free items was their Holiday Fall magazine. The others were Christmas goodies which were great stocking stuffers for my grand baby and my Vegan-Gluten sensitive daughter.. David's Chocolate Milk Chocolate Santa, a box of Midel Candy Cane Cream Cookies, GF, a box of Dancing Deer Peppermint Trees, and a Coombs Pure Maple Candy Man... WIN!
Everything that I bought got gobbled up and used by my entire family... crackers, sauces, pasta, chips seasonings, cooking oils, cookies ... all delicious ! Gluten Free, Non GMO, Organic, Vegan and regular staple goods for my regular food eating family members too !

Turns out there are other online stores following their lead... Amazon is jumping in on it as well (they also charge a fee) Currently, I am sticking with Thrive.
I am making my second order for the New Year. I was unable to google a new coupon code that would work for a higher savings, this time around but by shopping and then not completing my order on the same day well it caused me to receive a "free gift" email, clicked on the link and instantly I received a free deodorant in my shopping cart ! Now that I like ! WIN.
Now that's smart marketing... it gets me to try new merchandise that I would not normally invest in.
After the 30 day trial it costs ... 59.95 for a 1 year membership, which is about 5 bucks a month. Teaches and Veterans get free memberships. They offer a great referral program where you can invite friends to join and earn per referral, which can pay for the membership fee and groceries, if you use your social platforms to share and invite your friends, family and social connections, then this too is a WIN.
