Thrive Market It's a WIN-WIN, Win 10,000 promo
I had heard about this online market the year before, being a raw vegan at the time I was excited to give it a try, but the the catch was you had to pay a membership fee, so I was out. This time, they were offering a free 30 day membership to try it out, free shipping plus your an entry into the 10,000 contest... so this time I was in !
Thrive Market focus's on selling only non-perishables, with a selection of 4,000+ healthy, natural, and safe foods and products at wholesale prices. You can shop by category : Vegan . Gluten Free . Paleo . Raw . Staple and more and by other categories Babies . Pets . Moms . Beauty . Health ... from sauces, seasonings, superfoods .... to home goods, fragrances, bedding, school supplies and soon, apparel, they have so much to choose from. Free shipping is offered on all orders over 49.00. Plus, free gifts with higher level purchases.
Just by googling about 10 of the items and comparing to other online stores, I instantly saw that Thrive Market's prices beat them all out ! I figured the savings of time and gas alone was worth shopping online, add the savings and the added value of the free gifts - Win
After my order was complete, I received a few emails telling me I completed my order, giving me a receipt of the items I purchased, with photos and my savings, an email of when my goods were shipped and a tracking number.
Everything that I bought got gobbled up and used by my entire family... crackers, sauces, pasta, chips seasonings, cooking oils, cookies ... all delicious ! Gluten Free, Non GMO, Organic, Vegan and regular staple goods for my regular food eating family members too !
I found it online at Fortune.com :
"If Costco and and Whole Foods had an online baby "
Turns out there are other online stores following their lead... Amazon is jumping in on it as well (they also charge a fee) Currently, I am sticking with Thrive.
I am making my second order for the New Year. I was unable to google a new coupon code that would work for a higher savings, this time around but by shopping and then not completing my order on the same day well it caused me to receive a "free gift" email, clicked on the link and instantly I received a free deodorant in my shopping cart ! Now that I like ! WIN.
Now that's smart marketing... it gets me to try new merchandise that I would not normally invest in.
After the 30 day trial it costs ... 59.95 for a 1 year membership, which is about 5 bucks a month. Teaches and Veterans get free memberships. They offer a great referral program where you can invite friends to join and earn per referral, which can pay for the membership fee and groceries, if you use your social platforms to share and invite your friends, family and social connections, then this too is a WIN.
1 = $25
5 = $125
10 = $250
50 = $1250
100 = $2500
The Thrive Social Mission ::
They also have a great sponsorship program in place.
Buy One, Give One For each friend that becomes a member (even the free 30 day membership counts), they'll donate a years membership to a low-income family through their Thrive Gives initiative. Providing free access for an entire year to healthy, wholesome products at prices lower than their highly-processed, unhealthy alternatives. How great is that ! WIN !

*If you are wondering why I would do a post on my travel blog about this topic, it's because I love to SHARE and I value my time, love anything that provides me convenience and I believe healthy eating and good food options and love to bring some of these items along with me in my luggage and on flights to keep me in control of some of my meals when traveling the world. And so can you !
