The Shorbreak is a Joie de Vivre hospitality hotel, located in the center of Huntington Beach, pier, shops, restaurants, sand.
We've stayed here twice. Once in a standard suite room, this time in a Large 2 full bedroom suite, the Lanai Suite, with wrap around patio, featuring playful outdoor furniture, including chaise lounges and beanbags with view of the pier, beach, PCH. Large enough to host a rather large party on (we were thinking maybe our next Salon party perhaps?) Our friends we were traveling with had the Point Terrace Suite (225-square-foot covered patio with sweeping ocean views, Outdoor Projection tv, wall screen) Really cool! The rooms are very nice, modern, hip, clean, huge bathrooms with walk-in showers and large tubs.
Unfortunately this hotel has no pool/jacuzzi.
This hotel is themed out beach, surfing, hip. They have an outdoor fire pit area, offer up s'mores for the kids in the evening.
Late night cocktails (interesting concoctions) and yummies at the hotels in-house restaurant and bar, Zimzala, the pretzels were amazing!!! (just like Aunt Annies)
They are located smack dab in the middle of all the excitement of Huntington Beach, across the street from miles of beach, the Huntington Pier and just 1 street over from MAIN street, where all the cool stores and restaurants are.
*this is a DOG FRIENDLY hotel! YAY. Beach Butler service (I will have to try that out sometime)
They have a frequent stay rewards program called the JOY OF LIFE CLUB which we belong to, helps save a little on each stay. Each time that we have stayed in these hotels, we are given a bottle of choice of wine or champagne and a nice card welcoming us to the hotel in our room.
