Last we were here was 2008, (see my summer post) just after they did their million dollar remodel. This time we were here for a friends wedding. What a great time we had. The Wedding took place in the Ballroom Terrace ... heourderves and cocktails outside during the sunset overlooking the water !
The first wedding I have ever been to that ended the bride and groom dance and started off the " ALL dance" with a popping shower of confetti on the dance floor ... NICE TOUCH !
The food was great, decor beautiful. The bride had placed a box of girl scout cookies at each place setting. A slideshow showing the bride and groom thru the years was presented.
PHOTO BOOTH RENTAL... my first time actually getting to encounter this new popular event/party trend. We had a silly time playing with our Alterna Haircare crew/table partners, dressing up and comparing photos.
A few of us met in the reception area and sat next to the fireplace then hit the Baileen Lounge for after drinks. Like we needed anymore !
The hotel was dressed up beautifully with Holiday decor.
In-room breakfast was interesting...
