First visit to this new Steakhouse in Laguna Niguel. Been operating other locations in Oceanside and Mission Valley, since 1940.
Upon enterering, the host greets us, dining to the right, bar with full dinner menu to the left. We went left. Lounge style seating (to low for dining) bar tables, perfect. Friendly staff, Cafe style seating decor. Works for both day and evening. Big screens, full bar. Decent prices. Casual.
We enjoyed the appetizers of Chipotle Mac & Cheese - Gruyere & Monterey Jack cheeses with a chipotle adobe sauce 7.00 (wasabi creme sauce, perfectly light) and the Ahi - sushi grade ahi seared with Cajun spices & sesame seeds & served with a wasabi cream sauce 11.00. For dinner we shared the Whiskey Peppercorn Top Sirloin -cracked black peppercorns & whiskey peppercorn sauce 20.00 (9 oz with veggies and side salad)
Served with wheat bread & butter (with a hint of cinnamon) mmm
Many steaks, fish, prime rib to choose from. Will be back for the artichoke appetizer. :)
