Proof again that using those airline credit cards for airline credits work! Chase - Continental would be the one we used. We flew 1st class, non-stop on United Airlines to and from NYC for fashion week without forking up a penny! SCORE!
United Red Carpet Club lounge... the set up: all you could want to eat and drink. It's own bathroom, flat screens, a wall of magazines to choose from, service crew cleaning up and re-stocking, free wifi and more !! Hellz YA!
Priority boarding. In-flight: Your own hand held device for viewing tv, movies, playing games and 30 minutes of free internet.Meals, drinks, blanket, two pillows, hot wash towels, eye covers, they hang up your coat. Why can't it always be like this. Oh and on our flight back the captain came out and took the time to greet and shake everyones hand!... and the attendant gave us a card from the captain with a fairwell greeting upon our departure! Nice touch!
And did you know that you can check-in via your cell phone? Paperless. You scan your cell phone virtual ticket (in your flight verification email you get a bar code for scanning!) Just walk through security, lay your phone down on the scanner and zap, you are in, repeat for boarding. Very cool. No need to shuffle around for that ticket that you put where? in your purse, in your pocket, no your other pocket. :) GENIUS I SAY!
