Being a resident of the OC for over 30 yrs, this was the first time I have attended this Annual event. We made it to the very last concert of the summer series.

Spectacular OCEAN VIEWS from the hillside park adjacent to the Marriott Dana Point Resort.
What a great day it was for the whole family !...
The band was outstanding, had the crowd up and dancing. Smells of the BBQ. People walking their dogs. Kids running around. Booths with vendors selling libations and eats. There was a free raffle for a beach cruiser bike from the "Buy my Bikes" guy dressed in his bee costume. (He kindly took photos with us)
*Tips: There's a childrens playground with park bathroom (although they provide port-a-potties). Parking isn't to terrible, they let you load and unload by the concert. You can bring you own picnic, some people were doing just that. We sat on a huge grassy area shaded and away from the main concert/vendor area (unshaded). Must put your umbrellas down, once the concert begins.
Will definitely will be doing this again next summer, you should too !
