Dana Point Harbor Boat Show

We arrived in the later afternoon so we just had a few hours on the last day of the show. Grandbaby and dog in tow. Upon entry you are handed a free tote bag (3 color choices) Tented booths with jewelry, clothing, trinkets, boating goods, beef jerky, and more. The Dana Point Yacht Club had a spin a wheel win a prize, the guys there were pretty friendly and gave us selective prizes.
We quickly ran through the booths, ran into an old friend, we all found the beer - margi tent, then headed off to the boat docks to check out the boats.
There were tug boats, fishing boats, speed boats and yachts. My favorite was the Marquis Yacht ! a perfect Di by the Sea ~ boat. Wouldn't you know it, Jean Paul DeGeorgia of Paul Mitchell owns the company ! (those of you who are Salon Platinum Fans get the connection) Big Bucks ! ... and our friends who were there selling a yacht are going to buy the one I want, stay tuned, if I get to go on it, I will suredly be sharing on this blog. They let you actually go aboard the boats and check out the living quarters, bathrooms, kitchens, these things are decked out ! *tip (no shoes allowed on the boats so you have to take yours off, good to wear sandals)
It was so fun to be on the other side of the docks for the first time ever, quite a different view from my normal harbor walks.
They have a shuttle, parking goes quick. Parking is free. If you buy your tickets online, you save 5.00 off the 12.00 price and they have a $3.00 discount coupon on their website as well.
