They have a whole lot going on.

The Menu is a book, literally! MENU - Gastro Pub . American New . Tapas bars
I ordered a Scotch egg . Blood Orange Ahi salad, my husband Italian burger with portabello (it had a cheese chip!). All of it was quite unique in taste, very natural in flavors, not over dressed. Our server was super friendly and did her job well, you can tell when someone likes where they work and that just adds to the whole experience on a positive.
Someone put a lot of time, thought and money into this place. There's just nothing around that I know of that's quite like it. Every detail has been thought of. They have a nice dining area with fireplace on the left, bar dining area to the right, outside seating. Great music which only added to the unique dining experince going on. I say, go, check it out, give it a try. Let me know what you thought.
Next, door to the Golden Door and Proof bars and art gallerys, the Artist Village...
Friday and Saturday nights go off. 45 minutes wait to get in! So make a reservation, you can do it online.
Jeff Jensen, future historian, (1 of 3 partners), came up to us as we were leaving. Introduced himself handed us a card. Shared some info about the area, business, new venues, nightlife. They have quite a lot of unique happenings going on: After Office Happy Hour, Way back Wednesdays -DJs spinning throwbacks, Service Industry nights check out their website for all the deets! Jeff also shared with us about a new thing they are doing, a House Car: limo service for the surrounding artist lofts residents and to bring outside the city of Santa Ana people in. GREAT IDEA>
